Philosophical contrast between Keating and Roarkian think patterns

This marks the completion of one-third on AynRand's fantastic work 'The FountainHead'. I would not want to go ahead before recording what philosophical turbulence this writeup has caused till now.
PeterKeating, a stylist I must say for the ' Being-Practical' streak that he has, an eye to achieve what he wants, is definitely exemplary.Nothing seems to be too much out of order for him throughout the story and the character emphasizes on what would be the ideal likes for every parent for his/her son. He would go to college, would do nothing that would be out of the way, does what is just told to him and would not risk anything and almost denies the very old and famous saying "No Risk...No Gain"! At times, I was hating him for how could he be so much always at the right place at the right time to reap the benefits one would desire. But then, what had inclined me was the contrary Roarkian way of thinking. It was boundless infinite of what all one can reach to in anything that a person wants to do in life. Its an approach driven by diving into the ocean of real knowledge and what one can do with it. And then put yourself to test to what exactly you can craft out with those skills acquired. Then when the virtuosity of this kind leads you into an inevitable competition, there you feel the happiness of the turmoil done to get that ultimate success. And you enjoy every single moment of it. Rightly said to thrive for excellence and success will follow rather than to wait for destiny to turn the success stone for you and then to think that one would excel on anything that might be given to him/her. I think there would be a one is to one ratio of people who would believe in either of Keating or the Roarkian philosophies, but to feel eternal bliss and the feeling of completeness would be granted by the Roarkian way. It leads to be the virtuoso yet a soother to talk to. A person seemingly rigid but yet exemplary. A person standing up for himself but being the ultimate humble. But as easy as it is to write, but these balances are the toughest to strike in real life!.
